Are you looking for scuba diving opportunities in Canada?
Good News.  Quebec has scuba diving opportunities for any level of diver. From numerous quarries and the salt water of the Lower St. Lawrence. When you go underwater you will see how beautiful it is. Aside from meeting the seals, whales and anemones, you will have the chance to see the historical wrecks of the Thousand Islands. The 1000 Island Region is one of the world’s top fresh water locations. Hmmm, the water is fantastic. Very clear. If you want to have great experience in diving, you should visit the place.

riagonzales23 created a blog entry Learn to Dive...

The Canadian Diving Amateur Association (CADA) has been promoting it’s “Learn-to-Dive” program in municipal pools and diving clubs since 1976.  The initial goal of the program, created by Don McGavern, was to introduce children and adults to the skills of diving as a sport and educate them in a correct and safe manner.   So far, thousands of children and adults have been able to discover diving through the Learn-to-Dive program.  To ensure that the program remains current, the revised program emphasizes having fun while diving and encourages the diver to follow logical progressions when learning new dives.  The program also stresses dive safety.
The summary of the skills has 4 levels and 3 categories, these are bronze, silver and gold. If you want to join their program, you should know where to participate so I guess you need this information.

riagonzales23 created a blog entry WHAT IS BARATRAUMA ...

Oh my God!
I can’t help to express this word  when I dive. It is because of the strong impact to the water. Do you know what baratrauma is? Baratraumas is the most common injury in recreational diving. A baratrauma is a pressure related injury.  ‘Baro’ refers to pressure and ‘trauma’ refers to an injury. When you had a strong impact in diving you may have lung, sinus, and ear barotraumas.
Many divers experience baratrauma so you don’t have to worry to much. But if you experience this, you need to look for a doctor so he can give you proper medication. If the pressure difference between the middle and outer ear is greater than about 2 psi (pounds per a square inch) a diver's ear drum will be distorted to the point that he is likely to feel pain and discomfort. This pressure difference can occur by descending as little as 4-5 feet without equalizing.

Hmmm… I am sure what will people say after they go diving in Ontario. As a diver, I can tell that Ontario is the best place to dive for these reasons. It’s fresh water, it’s cold and there are a lot of very well preserve shipwrecks. Would you believe that the wooden ships wrecked in Ontario’s lakes in the 1800’s are still in good shape?
Maybe it sounds imposible but it’s true. The shipwrecks are good as new because of the fresh water. Actually, you can visit these wrecks if you want to do scuba diving in this spot. What are you waiting for? Let’s do underwater adventure.

I’m in-love! You are wrong if you think that I’m referring to a guy. What I mean is I’m in-love with my sport, scuba diving. For past two years I search for places where I can do scuba diving. One of my favorite places in diving is in Ontario. That is the reason why I’m so excited. Starting September to June (9:30 pm to 10:30 pm) the Ontario Underwater Explores (OUE) has access to the Etobioke Olympium pool which boasts a deep end of 16 feet. This is located at 590 Rathburn Road, Etobioke (Toronto), Ontario. If you are interested to come, I will love to join your company. Let’s do friendly competition if you like. We can use the pool for many reasons – swimming, snorkeling, trying out new gear and maintaining skills. If you love swimming but doesn’t know how to dive OUE also gives training courses. A wonderful opportunity, right?
